FOUR NOWACKHOWARD ATTORNEYS NAMED TO 2022 GEORGIA SUPER LAWYERS & RISING STARS LIST.
February 28, 2022, Atlanta, Ga. – NowackHoward, LLC is pleased to announce that four of the firm’s attorneys have been named as 2022 Georgia Super Lawyers for Real Estate. Co-Founders and Partners Julie McGhee Howard and George E. Nowack, Jr. were both named 2022 Super Lawyers, with Julie named for the second year to the Top 50 Women in Georgia list. Daniel Moore and Melinda K. Banks have each been named 2022 Super Lawyers Rising Stars in Real Estate. Each year, fewer than 2.5 percent of the lawyers in Georgia are selected by Super Lawyers making this a significant recognition for the firm’s talent and expertise.

Julie McGhee Howard has been recognized as a Georgia Super Lawyer for the 9th time. Julie earned her law degree from University of Georgia School of Law and following a judicial clerkship and early litigation practice, built her strong legal career representing condominium and homeowner associations for more than 25 years. During that time, she has earned the prestigious AV Preeminent rating from Martindale-Hubbell. Julie has been recognized since 2011 as a top-rated real estate attorney in Georgia by Super Lawyers. This will be the second, consecutive time that Julie has been included in the Georgia Super Lawyers Top 50 Women.
George E. Nowack, Jr. has been recognized as a Georgia Super Lawyer for the 17th time. George has represented condominium and homeowner associations for 40 years and is recognized nationally for his work on community association insurance issues. He earned the AV Preeminent rating from Martindale-Hubbell and his law degree from Washington and Lee University School of Law.
Both Julie Howard and George E. Nowack, Jr. have the distinction of being the only two law partners in the country to have both served as presidents of the international Community Associations Institute and its Georgia Chapter, as well the prestigious College of Community Association Lawyers.
Daniel P. Moore has been recognized as a Georgia Super Lawyers Rising Star for the 7th time. Dan is of counsel with NowackHoward and represents condominium and homeowner associations throughout Georgia in civil litigation. With over a decade of civil litigation experience, Dan leverages his background in real estate law to provide his community association clients with top-tier legal services, including dispute resolution, mediation, and arbitration. Dan earned his law degree from Mercer University School of Law.
Melinda K. Banks has been recognized as a Georgia Super Lawyers Rising Star for the 3rd time. With 10 years of experience, Melinda is a senior associate with NowackHoward advising condominium and homeowner association boards of directors on the day-to-day legal issues, management, and operational aspects of governing their communities. Melinda’s practice also includes drafting, interpreting, and amending association legal documents, transitioning from developer to owner control, helping associations prepare for and run efficient meetings, enforcement of association covenants, and reviewing contracts. Melinda earned her law degree from Mercer University School of Law.
