Jessica brings a wealth of legal expertise to the NowackHoward team with a strong focus on real estate and background in title law. Having begun her career as a realtor serving metro Atlanta, Jess has a strong understanding of the legal landscape and needs of Georgia residents. Licensed to practice law in both Georgia and Alabama, as well as being a licensed Notary Public in Dekalb County, Georgia, Jessica’s qualifications are as diverse as they are impressive.
Jessica’s journey in law began at Georgia State University College of Law, where she earned her Juris Doctor in May 2019. At GSU, Jess was recognized for her exceptional writing ability in her Trial Advocacy Course. During her time in law school, Jess volunteered at the Housing Court Assistance Center of Fulton County assisting indigent tenants in challenging dispossessory proceedings, showcasing her dedication to providing access to justice for all. Upon graduation, Jess was awarded the Pro Bono and Public Service Distinction for her volunteer contributions.
Jessica’s prior legal experience includes several prominent law firms such as Fidelity National Law Group where Jess specialized aspects of real estate law including complex title litigation, trial work, eminent domain acquisitions and condemnations.
Jessica also holds a Bachelor of Arts in English from Georgia State University, demonstrating her diverse academic background and well-rounded skill set. Outside of the office, Jess enjoys reading, gardening, and spending time in nature with her dogs and husband.
